Marianne Kirchgessner,

LCSW-C

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, family, and couples counseling. In 2016 I graduated from University of Maryland Baltimore County with a bachelor’s in social work. My education and training continued at New York University, where I obtained my Master’s in Social Work in 2017.

I have experience providing therapeutic services to a diverse demographic in a variety of settings, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient/school-based clinics. I have worked at the Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt since 2017, providing primarily family therapy in various levels of care.

In addition to working with eating disorders, I specialize in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, interpersonal relationship issues, and substance abuse. I take an eclectic approach to providing services, drawing from several modalities and working with clients to identify an approach that is suited to their particular needs and that will support them to reach their goals in treatment.
